Dear friends and family of the LGBTQ Center OC,

July is always a transformative time for us. During the summer, we take the time to reflect on our past fiscal year and all of the growth we’ve achieved in the community. From incorporating STI testing as a part of our free testing & prevention program, to evolving our senior services program to include social and support groups for LGBTQQ+ community members of all ages, we couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come.

And we couldn’t have done it without you. You have shown us that life truly gets better together, and with our strengths united, we can continue to empower the OC LGBTQQ community through programs, services, and networking opportunities.

Pride month may be over, but at the LGBTQ Center OC, we never stop celebrating our pride. In fact, we are excited to host OC Trans Pride on July 27th at CO4 from 11AM – 6PM as a special Pride event for our very own transgender community and their allies in Orange County. As the 5th annual Trans Pride in Orange County, we expect this year’s event to be bigger and better than ever! Don’t miss the opportunity to join us at the Trans Pride Warm-Up Party as well, on July 20th from 7PM – 10PM at Main Street Bar & Cabaret!

That’s not all we’re looking forward to in July. On the 20th, we will be hosting one of our largest youth-focused events of the year: Queer Prom. Any LGBTQQ and allied youth between 14-20 years of age are invited to join us at CO4 from 7PM – 10PM for free food, fun, dancing, live entertainment, and much more. Summer is a time for socializing, and what better way to do so than at an all-inclusive event? We’re definitely signing up for the fun!

Be on the lookout for our upcoming impact report for the past fiscal year. There’s a lot of exciting news we want to share, and we can’t wait to show you how the Center has grown and expanded our services to reach more LGBTQQ people than ever before.
