For the months of April and May 2019, we present to you Peter Clarke’s solo art show:

“Sticky Thumbnails: Large Paintings from Small Places”

Opening April 6th, 7-10pm

Peter will be in attendance, showcasing his large fantastical original oil paintings with a limited amount of signed/numbered giclee prints available. This event is FREE and for all ages! No tickets required.

Artist Statement: Memories, dreams, reflections. Figures, creatures and various motifs emerge based on the direction the image takes. I let the evolving narrative carry me along as I focus on the formal aspects of the painting. In trying to surprise myself, cycles of birth,
death and transformation become common themes and rhythms in the work.

“The job of the artist is to always deepen the mystery.” – Francis Bacon

Peter Clarke is a Concept Artist/Illustrator/Painter who has worked at various film and game studios for the past 25 years on projects including Treasure Planet, the Ice Age films and the World of WarCraft expansions. Peter teaches life drawing and pursues his oil paintings.

Closing show will be May 4th, 7-10pm

A portion of the sales proceeds will go towards The LGBT Center Orange County, a 501(c) non-profit organization, helping empower the LGBT community:

Other activities TBA! This is a FREE event and open to all ages. No tickets required.
